Josh Greenberg, who co-founded the now-defunct music-sharing service Grooveshark, was found dead in his bed Sunday night at the age of 28.

Abby Mayer, his live-in girlfriend, told The Gainesville Sun that she found Greenberg dead after spending a weekend with friends and called 911 at around 7 p.m.

Lori Greenberg, Josh's mother, told the Sun that she never knew her son to ever be sick or take drugs and said, "It looked like he was sleeping."

Gainesville, FL police tweeted that they found no evidence of drug use or foul play, and an autopsy will be conducted this week with toxicology reports available in two or three months.

Greenberg founded Grooveshark with fellow University of Florida student Sam Tarantino in 2006. The service reportedly had 40 million users a month and employed 145 people at its peak. Because of its growth, however, Grooveshark fell victim to copyright issues and was shut down in April as part of a settlement with Universal Music Group, Sony Music Entertainment and Warner Music Group.
