JT To Play Elton?

A big-screen biography of Elton John is in the works, and Justin Timberlake is in talks to play the title role.

John is collaborating with husband David Furnish and "Billy Elliot" writer Lee Hall on a movie-musical version of the singer's life. Timberlake previously played John in a music video, which prompted John to choose Timberlake for the role.

"We're searching for a director. It's important we all share the same vision," Furnish told E! Online. "Elton and Justin have had conversations about it. Justin also says he has to feel comfortable with the director and the director has to be comfortable with Justin. The chemistry is really important. There's no race to make this. We're just going to take the time to make it right."
