The reason I love the fall season and Halloween all together is the amount of themed events in the area. Anything to do with pumpkin patches and hayrides makes me love the holiday season even more. According to their Facebook event page, the Jubilee Zoo is planning their own special something for the season.

Next Saturday, October 13th, the Jubilee Zoo is hosting a Pumpkin Patch Pet Parade starting at 10 am going on till 1 pm. It is regular admission price to get in, but $10 for per pet that you bring along.

They will be starting the day with "Pet Pix in the Patch" where you can take selfies and family photos within the pumpkins. After you take your photo makes sure to post it on their Facebook page, because whoever gets the most likes by 12:45 will be awarded a giant pumpkin that is valued at $50.

Then at 11 am they kick off the pet parade for all those four legged cuties to show off their Halloween costumes. There will be prizes and ribbons awarded to Best Costume, Smallest Pet, Best Pet Trick, Owner/Pet Look-A-Like, Prettiest Pet, and So Ugly It's Cute.

Following the pet parade is the "Pet Trick-Or-Treat" with tables set up for all kinds of goodies for the critters and pet owners alike. Then to finish up the day they will have a Safari Hayride.
