There must have been a hanging chad, because the figures have been revised and Jurassic World officially had the biggest opening weekend in history, beating the original Avengers 2012 record of $207.4M with $208.8M. Those movie theaters had to have been packed! In fact, I saw a lot of people on Facebook talking about going last night and the theaters being packed on a Monday night, which normally you’d think was a pretty slow night at the movies.
