Things are never easy when it comes to Justin Bieber's legal woes. Yesterday, May 15 -- the same day an eyewitness spoke out to deny claims that the singer attempted to rob a woman's phone -- it came out that JB is being sued by a photographer claiming that his bodyguard beat him up in a Subway bathroom.

According to TMZ, photographer Manuel Munoz snapped several shots of Bieber leaving SET nightclub in Miami, Florida back in January -- just moments before the Biebs was arrested for a DUI. The singer's bodyguard Dwayne Patterson was supposedly unhappy with the paparazzo and allegedly chased him into a Subway restaurant, locking the door to the establishment and cornering him in the bathroom, where he allegedly proceeded to demand Munoz delete the photos. Patterson then allegedly attempted to steal the camera's memory card and punch and kick the photographer.

However, as TMZ claims, this story doesn't match up with the one Munoz told when he filed the police report, in which he claims that the bodyguard merely tripped him, causing him to have a "small scratch in his left knee." TMZ also reports that Munoz told Patterson he'd give Bieber the photos for $10,000, but the bodyguard refused to pay more than $5,000.

Munoz is suing both Bieber and Patterson.

Bieber's lawyer, Howard Weitzman, spoke out about the lawsuit, telling TMZ:

"This new lawsuit filed by a paparazzo is yet another shakedown for money. The paparazzo admits that Justin was not present at the alleged 'assault.' The paparazzo told the police he had only scratched his knee when he was allegedly tripped, but now claims he was beat up. There are no damages."

Justin Bieber may not always be on his best behavior, but this is one lawsuit that seems pretty fishy to us. Like his lawyer said, Bieber wasn't even there during the time of the supposed attack … not to mention that the paparazzo seemed to have completely changed his story from sustaining a mere scratch to being punched and kicked in a bathroom. Hmmm.

Beliebers, what do you think of the lawsuit?
