Kanye West—or just Ye—has profited off the YZY brand for a number of years, but according to his latest tweets, it's now a nonprofit under one of the world's largest technology companies. Yesterday (Sept. 30), the pro-Trump supporter tweeted YZY is "a for purpose (non profit) arm (branch) of Apple."

"We unofficially work for Steve Johnny Tim and Lorraine," he continued, referencing Steve Jobs, the late co-founder of Apple Inc., and other Apple officials. "Everything we do at YZY is to be an arm (branch) of what our hero Steve has created. With love."

He also added that YZY works for Eddie Q, in which he was most likely referring to Eddy Cue, the Senior VP of Apple's Internet Software and Services.

The news of the questionable partnership comes one day after West appeared on the 44th season premiere of Saturday Night Live, where he performed his top 10 Billboard single, "I Love It," with Lil Pump. His speech defending President Donald Trump has forced several hip-hop artists to come forward and express their disapproval, including T.I. and Swizz Beatz, who went on to record a song titled "Fuck the MAGA Hat."

Another one of 'Ye's tweet is raising a few eyebrows. Yesterday he also wrote that "the 13th Amendment is slavery in disguise meaning it never ended We are the solution that heals." He expounded on the comment with TMZ, telling them "[The 13th Amendment] is something that we need to look into, so I'm opening up the conversation."

XXL has reached out to Apple Inc. for comment.
