I have never been a fan of Kim Kardashian. I feel that there are far better people to look up to. However, I appreciate her speaking out about anxiety. I think it is important for celebrities to show that they do go through things like anxiety and stress. And that it is okay to seek for help.

“I think about it all the time, it drives me crazy,” she told her therapist during the episode. “I just want to get past my anxiety and live life… I never had anxiety and I want to take back my life.”

In the past few years more celebrities have been opening up about mental health issues and expressing their thoughts about stress and anxiety.

When I was a kid, I was always told that it was okay to talk about my feelings, but as I got older it became more about just dealing with our emotions and moving on. I don't think that is something to teach kids. It should be okay to discuss mental health issues and make it aware that it is perfectly fine to ask for help. As an adult, I feel that it is almost shameful to admit that I suffer from depression and anxiety. Which is why I am so thankful that celebrities are speaking up about this issue.
