Katy Perry’s parents hope to hook her up with…. Tim Tebow?

Katy Perry’s parents have been using their daughter’s divorce as publicity to draw people into their Evangelical church, but her dad said a little too much during a sermon. Pastor Keith Hudson made some anti-Semitic remarks, like ‘the way to make the Jew jealous is to have some money, honey’, and other similar comments. He finally issued an apology, saying that he’s used really descriptive images in the past while talking about the Jews persecution and somehow those phrases became a part of his vocabulary. He ended his apology by saying, "I apologize for the hurt that I caused my Jewish friends. With the help of God, it will not happen again."

But Keith’s not done with his holy magic. He actually invited Tim Tebow to speak at their church on a day that Katy’s going to be there! They are hoping for a heavenly hook-up, and think that Tim is just what Katy needs in her life right now.

Katy did miss the People’s Choice awards last night, but she still won more trophies than anyone else. She took home 5 awards, including Favorite Female Artist and Song of the Year for ‘E.T’.
