Kent Leaving As Robinson Film Center Director

Alexandyr Kent, executive director of Shreveport's Robinson Film Center for more than five years, has announced his resignation. Kent's wife has accepted a position with Wisconsin Public Radio and he and his family are moving to that state's capitol, Madison.

While director at the film center, Kent has worked to expand the membership program, added digital projection and spearheaded a fund drive to upgrade seating.

The Robinson's board of directors plans to meet and will announce interim management plans.
