The Krewe of Highland will be rolling out earlier on Sunday to accommodate the big game.

It's hard to believe we are already talking about the end of Mardi Gras 2016. With a tear in our eyes, the Krewe of Highland will be rolling out their annual parade on Sunday, February 7. Yes, the same day as the Super Bowl. Don't worry though, the parade will be starting an hour earlier than normal to accommodate you big game festivities.

The parade will begin at 1 p.m. in the historic Highland District.

The Krewe of Highland parade is known for its crazy throws. You can certainly skip lunch and get a full meal off of one of the floats, with hot dogs, moon pies, Ramen noodles and more. What will they throw this year?
