L.A. Reid Leaving “X Factor”
L.A. Reid is going back to his day job.
A rep for Epic Records announced Thursday that the veteran music executive will not return to the Fox singing competition show. Reid is chairman and CEO of Epic, a division of Sony Music Entertainment, and formerly held the same position at Island Def Jam Music Group.
Reid and Simon Cowell joined the American version of the show last year, joined this season by Britney Spears and Demi Lovato.
