Lady Gaga will hit Europe this August and September. This morning (April 10), the Mother Monster announced only three dates in the U.K. Then she tweeted a list of 21 dates in poster-like format, with bright pink letters on a black background, with a pink triangle, which is a gay pride symbol.

Gaga also dubbed her upcoming tour “an electro-metal pop opera,” which certainly has our tongues wagging in anticipation to see what Gaga brings to the table this time out. She obviously plans to top herself.

According to NME, Gaga is booked to play a one-off gig in Ireland at Dublin’s Aviva Stadium on Sept. 15.

Reunited rockers The Darkness will support Gaga on all dates, as will Lady Starlight. Astute little monsters will recognize Lady Starlight’s name, as she and Gaga came up together when Gaga was just another struggling artist trying to make it in the clubs of New York City. We absolutely adore the fact that Gaga remembers her roots and is dragging her old pal on the road with her. That’s true friendship right there.

“The Haus of Gaga and I have worked for months conceiving a spectacular stage,” the Mother Monster said in a statement regarding her new spate of dates. “The Born This Way Ball is an electro-metal pop-opera; the tale of the beginning, the genesis of the Kingdom of Fame. How we were birthed and how we will die celebrating.”

To die celebrating is so very Gaga.
