Lamar Odom Slowly Making Progress

Lamar Odom continues to show signs of improvement as he remains hospitalized following his drug overdose and emerging from a coma.

The former NBA star was hospitalized Tuesday after being found unconscious in a Nevada brothel. He began to slowly come out of a three-day coma Friday and is showing signs of improvement, but doctors say that he's not out of the woods yet and that setbacks are possible.

"Lamar is slowly making progress. Today has been a good day," said a source. "There's a lot of praying going on."

Since coming out of the coma, Odom has been able to speak a few words to wife Khloe Kardashian, including "Hey baby", and "Good morning", and can now breathe on his own without the help of a ventilator. He is, however, still on dialysis and is undergoing tests to determine the extent of possible brain damage and other long-term effects of last week's overdose.
