Executives from Fox told TheWrap.com that even if the voice actors from "The Simpsons" do agree to a massive pay cut, next season will likely be the show's last season. If they don't take the cut, the show will end after this season.

The actors received a pay raise when they re-upped their current contract in 2008, reportedly bumping their salaries from $360,000 to $500,000 an episode.
