Lifetime Developing Unauthorized ‘Full House’ Movie

The same network that gave us an unauthorized look at Saved By the Bell last year is about to do the same with Full House.

Lifetime is making plans to make a behind-the-scenes look at the classic sitcom and the rise of its castmembers, including John Stamos, Bob Saget and Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen.

It's fairly safe to say that this project probably wouldn't exist were it not for the fact that Netflix is launching a reboot of Full House entitled Fuller House, starring Candace Cameron Bure, Jodie Sweetin and Andrea Barber. This time, Bure reprises her role as D.J., a recent widow who enlists her sister Stephanie (Sweetin) and best friend Kimmy Gibbler (Barber) to help raise her kids.

The Full House movie is being scripted by Ron McGee, who wrote the Saved By the Bell movie. No airdate has been determined.
