Parental advisory stickers don't do Lil Wayne or Chief Keef justice when it comes to profanity, as the two dread-heads have been given an award for being the most potty-mouthed artists in history in a new study. The report, conducted by Federica Fragapane and Varun Jewalikar for Musixmatch -- the world's largest lyrics catalog -- compiled the most popular artists from each genre according to Google searches and only used studio albums for their analysis.

According to the study, Wayne used 3960 profanities throughout his twelve studio-albums that were analyzed. The most-used obscenity in Weezy's arsenal is “n*gga,” followed by “b*tch” and “f*ck.” The runner up to Lil Wayne in terms of most profanities used was the late 2Pac, who clocked in at 3724 profanities, closely followed by his "2 of Amerikaz Most Wanted" costar, Snoop Dogg (3535). Busta Rhymes and T.I. (2932) rounded out the top 5 with 3474 and 2932, respectively.

The number of studio-albums a rapper has to their name would certainly skew the results, which Musixmatch accounted for by also calculating the most frequency with which artists used profanity in their music. Among the 361 artists studied, it was found that Chief Keef used profanities most frequently, with 1 profanity for every 20 words in his lyrics. “B*tch,” “sh*t,” and “n*gga” were Keef’s top three curse words of choice. Dr. Dre (1 profanity/21 words), N.W.A. (1/22), A$AP Rocky (1/23), and Young Thug (1/25) were also ranked high in terms of frequency.

Hip-hop also topped both categories as a genre, but fans can take solace in the fact that rap artists also dominated a list which calculated which genre had the largest vocabulary, proving that hip-hop may be with the shits, but is also as intellectually sound a musical genre as there is.
