When Little Mix tells us to move, we move. Call us whipped, but we gladly admit we're crushing on these British bombshells!

Little Mix consists of Perrie Edwards, Jesy Nelson, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, and Jade Thirlwall. The won "The X Factor (UK)" in 2011, but it wasn't that easy. Each girl had auditioned for the show as a soloist and made it however, they failed to make it past the first challenge in boot camp.

The judges then gave them the option, group up or go home.

Edwards and Nelson grouped together with two other contestants to form Faux Pas, while Thirlwall and Pinnock grabbed another contestant for a group called Orion. Again, they failed. Both groups failed to make it through to the judges' houses. It was a decision later in the season that placed the four girls in a group called Rhythmix. Finally, they made it to the judges houses.

During the live shows, Rhythmix announced they would change their name to Little Mix after a dispute with a Brighton-based children's music charity of the same name. In November, 2011 Little Mix made history as the first girl group to pass the seventh live show in The X Factor's eight years.

In December, they were X Factor champions.

Following their win they were signed to Simon Cowell's label Syco Records. Little Mix released their debut album, DNA, in November 2012 with songs like "Going Nowhere", "DNA", "Change Your Life" and "How Ya Doin?" In September 2013, they released the single "Move" ahead of their second studio album, Salute, which came out in February 2014.

The world is catching the Little Mix fever. As of October 2013, they had sold over 4 million singles and 2.5 million albums worldwide. They broke a record previously set by the Spice Girls by earning the highest debut chart position in the U.S. They also became the first girl group since the Pussycat Dolls to reach the U.S. top 5 with their debut album.
