Local Athlete – Julie Norman

Julie Norman is a local athlete and she's representing our area well! Not a lot of people know about the sport of eventing. In a nutshell, it's what you see every four years during the equestrian portion of the Olympics. Right now, Julie is chasing her dreams coast to coast in hopes of qualifying for a spot at Rolex 2014... which just might advance her on the world stage. She's nationally ranked and I'm proud to say she's my trainer, so I have a vested interest in seeing her do well. But, I have to tell you, she's truly most impressive... as a person and as an athlete. With a group of dedicated students and family members behind her and now (finally) a sponsor, she's making a run at putting Louisiana eventing on the map!
