After releasing 'Yellow Flicker Beat' in September, we finally get to see both the track and Lorde come to life in the new music video.

Directed by Emily Kai Bock, the video (above) has the same deserted and eerie feeling that we get from the 'Hunger Games' movies. The New Zealand singer-songwriter (who is also celebrating her birthday today, Nov. 6) definitely comes out of her shell in this one. No longer do we see the shy (and pretty awkward) Lorde. Instead, it's the star that she's always been musically now coming out in her performance -- no doubt thanks to the fact that she played the festival circuit over the summer.

From her red '80s suit with black crop top in one scene to the more sultry feather like fitted dress in another, Lorde seems to be playing her own version of what Katniss Everdeen is in the film series -- while making sure to bust intense moves while doing so.

After this visual, we're looking forward to what else she's got up her sleeves.

'The Hunger Games: Mockingjay -- Part 1' hits theaters worldwide on Nov. 21, but you can grab your copy of the soundtrack on Nov. 17.
