Shreveport Public Assembly and Parks have announced another Free Fridays Forever event in the Red River District in downtown Shreveport Friday, January 17th! Check out what spokeswoman Becky Berry has to say about the event:

Shreveport Public Assembly and Recreation (City of Shreveport) announce an upcoming Free Fridays Forever
concert featuring Louisiana Crossroads on Friday, January 17, 2014, from 5
PM to 8 PM in the Red River Entertainment District.
Louisiana Crossroads band includes John “Blinddog” Kavanaugh on
keyboards and vocals, Steve Alves on drums and vocals, Bill Allen on bass
and vocals, Tony Reyes on guitar, Rick Sims on sax and Lori G on vocals and
keyboards.
According to the band’s bio: “The concept of Louisiana Crossroads from
inception has been to bring together the very best musicians and entertainers from the region, and utilizing the
strengths of each to build a major events capable band utilizing all styles of music; from rock, to funk, to blues,
to country and R & B including music that is current, to old school, and in between.
Louisiana Crossroads features an incredible new female talent in Lori G. whose powerhouse vocals and amazing
stage presence is getting rave reviews. The multi-talented musicians behind Lori will bring guitars, bass, drums,
keyboards, and sax to this high energy show.”
Louisiana Crossroads will be performing on Friday, January 17th at 5 PM in the Red River Entertainment District
under the Texas Street Bridge in a free concert as a part of Free Fridays Forever. For more information on
