August 26 is Women's Equality Day, but Louisiana ladies don't seem to have much to celebrate. According to an in-depth WalletHub analysis, our state is the 10th worst for women's equality.

WalletHub ranked each of the 50 states based on 10 key metrics, ranging from the gap in the number of female and male executives, to the disparity between women's and men's life expectancy, to the imbalance of their political representation.

Louisiana ranked 49th in Earnings Gap, 39th in Executive Positions Gap, 43rd in Workday Hours Gap, 35th in Unemployment Rate Gap, 15th in Life Expectancy at Age 65 Gap, and 41st in Political Representation Gap.
