Most of the state, and much of the country, is still reeling after yesterday's tragedy in Baton Rouge. Including LSU Football Coach Les Miles.

As many are expected to continue on with their daily routines today, the school and Coach Miles have chosen to slow their celebration of the upcoming college football season. The coach was set to join multiple shows on the campus of ESPN today, but has hit the pause button on the trip. Here's more from the Louisiana Radio Network:

"LSU Coach Les Miles has cancelled his yearly trip to ESPN in light of the killings of three cops in Baton Rouge.

In a statement, Miles said his heart hurts for Baton Rouge and what’s been happening in our community over the past couple of weeks. He says he continues to pray for peace, compassion and civility as our city mourns during this extremely sad time for Baton Rouge.

Miles was supposed to visit ESPN studios today for the annual seven hour tour through its facilities — also known as the car wash. A spokesman for the team says Miles will not reschedule his appearance for later this week."
