People.com reports that former "Saturday Night Live" cast member Maya Rudolph and director Paul Thomas Anderson became the parents of a baby boy named Jack July 3.

The couple are also the parents of two daughters, 5 1/2-year-old Pearl, and 20-month-old Lucille.

Rudolph, who co-starred in the hit comedy "Bridesmaids" and will be seen on NBC's new series "Up All Night", said that she and Anderson decided to wait to find out the baby's sex, explaining, "The exciting part is not knowing who's coming. You have to wait nine months for a surprise, but then it's a good payoff because it really is a surprise."
