[UPDATE] Man Found Dead at Louisiana Boardwalk in Bossier City

[UPDATE] The man found dead today at the Louisiana Boardwalk has been identified as 24-year-old Ryan Michael James Fife of Shreveport. The investigation into his death continues. Foul play is not suspected as a factor in his death.

[ORIGINAL STORY] Bossier City police are investigating the death of a man whose body was found this morning at the Louisiana Boardwalk.

Police got a call just before 4:30 a.m. about a nude man who appeared to be vandalizing a car on the 4th level of the parking garage and exhibiting other irrational behavior.

Not long after they arrived, officers discovered the man's body. A police department news release says it appears the man either fell or jumped from the top of the parking garage. The Bossier Parish Coroner's Office will conduct an autopsy to determine the official cause of death, but no foul play is suspected.

The man's identity has been identified by a family member, but his name hasn't been relased yet. He fit the description of a man in his late 20's or early 30's who was reported missing to Shreveport police today.
