The catfight continues!

New "American Idol" judge Mariah Carey went on "The View" Thursday and spoke to Barbara Walters regarding the blowup between her and fellow judge Nicki Minaj, telling Walters that at one point Minaj said about Carey, If I had a gun, I would shoot the b----," within earshot of several people.

Minaj took to Twitter after hearing the claims and posted, "Ironically no camera or mic heard the gun comment tho. Lol @ the struggle. Not even the producers believed u. Say no to violence barbz."

We'll find out in January whether or not all the drama will give "Idol" a much-needed ratings boost.
