Mariah Squashes Feud Rumors On “Idol”

New "American Idol" judge Mariah Carey shot down reports of feuding between her and fellow new judge Nicki Minaj during a press conference in New York Monday.

Fox officially announced Sunday that Carey and Randy Jackson will be joined by Minaj and country singer Keith Urban as judges when the show returns in January.

Carey got a laugh from her fellow judges and host Ryan Seacrest by saying that she and Minaj have only been together for just two days and "a feud takes a little longer to happen."

Minaj says the new lineup is "getting along wonderfully."
