Marine Surprises Sister on Her Wedding Day

Maybe it’s the fact that it’s Memorial Day weekend. Perhaps it’s because I am a newlywed. But I totally just ugly-cried watching this.

“‘Not suppose to be here’ is no longer applicable,” Daniel Atwood told his sister after surprising her on her wedding day.

Sarah had finally come to grips with the fact that her brother, a Marine currently deployed, would not be able to attend her nuptials. The morning of her wedding day, as she was taking bridal portraits, she received the surprise of a lifetime.

Daniel was granted a one-day leave to be with his sister on her big day.

You may want to grab some tissues.

To all the men and women in uniform… Thank you for all that you do to serve this country.
