Matthew Davidson – Kidd Kraddick Rock Camp Guitarist Wednesday Report
I've gotta tell you, it's been wonderful getting to know both Matthew Davidson and his mother, Ella, this week during Kidd Kraddick's Rock Camp. Matthew is a 13 year old student from Caddo Middle Magnet. He found out he made the band this past Friday and since then, he's been up to his elbows in all things band and Kraddick! He's had the opportunity to work with Tim Halperin, Patrick Stump and Hanson to name a few! This will surely go down as one of the best summer's of Matthew's life and his mom continues their chronicles below! Here's my interview with Matthew from Wednesday:
Today was definitely a “Wow Wednesday”! The rock camp band Breaking Even performed live on the air with Patrick Stump on his new single “This City”. Patrick was very complimentary of the Rock Camp Band when he was being interviewed by Kidd Kraddick. Patrick said that “this band of 13-year-olds was tighter than some bands of 30-year-olds that he’s worked with!” His compliment must have been sincere, because he invited Breaking Even to perform “This City” with him at Patrick’s show in August at the House of Blues in Dallas.

Breaking Even performs at 2:00:00.
Later in the morning, the band was surprised by the arrival of Taylor and Zac Hanson. They will perform their song “Thinkin’ bout Somethin’” tomorrow on the air with the Rock Camp Band. The camp day will be longer tomorrow because they have scheduled salon appointments for the band and will be bringing some clothes in to give them a Rock Band makeover. Should be interesting!
