Vince Guaraldi's chirpy piano is a staple of the Peanuts' most memorable adventures, but these days, Charlie Brown and his pals are due for a little bit of

In support of the upcoming Peanuts movie, which will hit theaters in November, Meghan Trainor recorded a song called "Better When I'm Dancin.'" According to People, the track might help the downtrodden cartoon character summon some much-needed self esteem. Better late than never!

"They wanted a song about confidence and knew I was good at writing those," Trainor told the site. "I feel better when I'm onstage dancing and having fun, so I wrote about that!"

For her efforts, the film's production even rendered Trainor as a Peanuts character, herself ("They sent me the first version and I said, 'Don't touch it, it's perfect,'" she noted). So, if the singer were to become truly cartoonified, who would be her ideal pal? None other than C.B., himself, she shared.

"I felt so bad for him in some parts," she said, and added she fancied herself a Sally. "I'm probably the person that would go make sure he's all right. We would be best friends."
