Although she did not walk away with the crown as Miss USA 2016, Miss Hawaii 2016 (Chelsea Hardin) came out on top when she answered a controversial political question that still has many people up in arms.

Chelsea Hardin should hold her head high because even though she is not wearing the crown, she answered a difficult and controversial question in the personality interview with poise and grace. When the question was asked, it was immediately met with boos from the audience. The question was:

"If the election were held tomorrow, would you vote Hilary Clinton or Donald Trump for president, and why would you choose one over the other?"

Chelsea's classy answer:

"It doesn't matter what gender, what we need in the United States is someone who represents those of us who don't feel like we have a voice, those of us who want our voices heard. We need a president to push for what is right, and push for what America really needs."

I guess it's just me, but aren't most people taught not to ask someone, especially in public, who they would vote for in a political election? How would you have answered that question?

Miss Hawaii 2016 did walk away with the title of first runner-up and according to Cosmopolitan.com, some believe that the inappropriate question is what caused her to not receive the crown.

What do you about the question? Was it fair or unfair? Leave your comments below.
