It's the first Miss Magnificent Pageant in Louisiana and it's only a short road trip south.

Miss Magnificent Pageantry is all about self esteem, confidence and communication skills. The pageants are held for girls and women with special needs. Contestants are at least five years old with verbal or nonverbal and either walking or wheelchair bound. The pageants features three areas of competition; self introduction, formal wear and interview for verbal contestants.

Even the guys get in on the action as they serves as contestant escorts and announcers. They even have their own time slots for interviews and talent. Every contestant gets a crown, princess sash, trophy, and goody bag! Every "escort" gets a medal, trophy, and goody bag.

And all of the pageants are completely free!

The First Annual Louisiana State Miss Magnificent Pageant will be held on June 14 at the Main Street Community Center in Pineville, Louisiana. It's the first time the pageant has been held outside of Texas and the first state level pageant. This event is open to anyone who lives in Louisiana, in any area.
