MTV will air an hour-long tribute Nov. 28 to Ryan Dunn, the "Jackass" star who died earlier this year in an alcohol-related car crash that also claimed the life of his passenger.

The show is set to air at 9:30 p.m. (CT), and will trace Dunn's life from from his growing-up years in Ohio to becoming a "Jackass" regular, and will include interviews with friends and co-stars including Johnny Knoxville, Bam Margera, Wee Man, Rob Dyrdek and others.

Knoxville issued a statement saying,  "It's a surreal thing to undertake, doing a tribute to our brother Ryan's life. I still can't believe he's gone, but we wouldn't trust anyone else with this, so we are doing the best we can for Ryan, his family, friends and everyone who loved him."
