MTV TELEVISING ROB DYRDEK AND STONER SKATE PARK MAKEOVER

Professional skateboarder Rob Dyrdek will be in town (today) to talk about the $50,000 makeover his foundation is created at the Stoner Avenue Skate Plaza. The event will be televised by MTV and will feature Dyrdek’s cast along with a cadre of elected officials. Skateboard enthusiasts and kids of all ages also are welcome to join the festivities which will begin at 4 p.m. with live music followed by a press conference at 4:30 p.m.

Dyrdek, who has starred in MTV shows including ``Rob and Big’’ and ``Rob Dyrdek’s Fantasy Factory,’’ played a key role in planning the Stoner Skate Park when the City built the 12,500-square-foot park five years ago.
