Money Magazine has announced its annual "Best Places to Live in Every State", and leading the way for Louisiana is Bossier City.

From a Money January 19, 2018 post:

"Every year MONEY picks the Best Places To Live In the U.S.Yet because our strict requirements require towns to thread the needle, some parts of the country tend to show up more than once, while other states miss the list entirely. High-cost areas wind up underrepresented, as do regions that struggle with declining economies."

And, joining places like St. Augustine, Florida, Schaumburg, Illinois and Olive Branch, Mississippi is...Bossier City!

And in describing our state's most desirable location:

"Located on the eastern bank of the Red River, just across from Shreveport, Bossier City is home to Barksdale Air Force Base and has in recent years become one of fastest-growing urban centers in the state. Bossier City has attracted new residents with ongoing infrastructure improvements, a low cost of living, and rich local culture—various music and culinary festivals take place in the area throughout the year."
