Naya Rivera Not Leaving ‘Glee’, Network Says

Despite being written out of “Glee”‘s season finale episode, Naya Rivera will stay on as a member of the show’s cast, Fox said in a statement released Saturday.

“There is no truth to the rumor Naya has been fired from the show,” the statement read. “She remains under contract to ‘Glee’”.

Rumors surfaced that Rivera had been given the ax due to friction with fellow cast member Lea Michele, but insiders at the show quickly shot them down.

“[Naya] isn’t fired and her not being in the finale has nothing to do with Lea,” a source who works on the show told E! News. ”I don’t know where these stories are coming from, but they are not true.”
