If you happened to catch a song online today (Sept. 4) that was purported to be a new Justin Bieber song and found The Biebs dropping the 'N word, guess what? It was a fake and his since been yanked for the Interwebs.

The Biebs and his team claim that the song was a hoax where some web troll with a lot of time on his or her hands went onto YouTube and created a fake page that mirrored Bieber's real YouTube account.

The faker shared a song, dubbed 'What She Wants (Official) 2013,' which boasted a singer that sounded a lot like The Biebs using the controversial word in one of the lyrical phrases. The media got a hold of the link and it became a "thing."

The Biebs' team said their boy had nada to do with the song and his label's legal department has been working to have the song eradicated from the w-w-w.

The offending and offensive YouTube video has been struck from the site. TMZ reports that a artist named Khalil Underwood initially posted the track but the identity of the user/faker/hoaxer remains unconfirmed.

Tsk, tsk. Messing with Da Biebs like that! Have they no shame?
