New Movies Opening July 12: Grown Ups 2 and Pacific Rim
There are two new movies opening this weekend. The first is a comedy starring Adam Sandler. "Grown Ups 2" is the sequel to 2010 comedy hit Grown Ups. The second "Pacific Rim" is a science fiction thriller about monsters trying to take over the world.
Lenny (Adam Sandler) moves his family back to his hometown to be with his friends, but he finds that -- between old bullies, new bullies, party crashers and more -- he didn't leave the crazy life behind in Los Angeles.
Long ago, legions of monstrous creatures called Kaiju arose from the sea, bringing with them all-consuming war. To fight the Kaiju, mankind developed giant robots called Jaegers, designed to be piloted by two humans locked together in a neural bridge.
