There are three new movies opening this weekend. "Freebirds" stars the voices of Amy Poehler, Woody Harrelson, and Owen Wilson about time traveling birds trying to stop the Thanksgiving turkey tradition. The animated comedy is up against Harrison Ford's new sci-fi movie "Ender's Game" and the Michael Douglas movie "Last Vegas”.

"Free Birds" (PG)

Owen Wilson and Woody Harrelson play turkeys who discover a time machine hidden by the government, and try to use it to travel back in time and stop turkeys from being the traditional Thanksgiving meal.

"Last Vegas" (PG-13)

The comedy stars Michael Douglas as a bachelor who finally proposed to his girlfriend . . . so he and his buddies get together for a bachelor party in Las Vegas, but things get a little out of control. His friends are played by Robert DeNiro, Morgan Freeman, and Kevin Kline. It looks like an old folks' version of "The Hangover".

"Ender's Game" (PG-13)

Based on a sci-fi novel from 1985 about an intelligent young boy who's pulled out of school to join a military fleet, help stop an alien attack, and save Earth and the human race.
