Michigan rapper, NF, is currently on tour with Logic and Kyle, but that hasn't stopped him from a releasing a brand-new track and an equally haunting visual.

Lats Monday (June 18), NF dropped "Why," his second musical offering of 2018. The track finds the "Let You Down" rhymer questioning his talents after the aforementioned track went platinum. "Nothin' to me's ever good enough, I could be workin' for 24 hours a day and think I never did enough/My life is a movie but there ain't no tellin' what you gonna' see in my cinema/I wanna be great but I get in the way of myself when I think about everything that I could never be/Why do I do it, though?" he spits over production from Patrick Tohill and NF himself. The two are credited as the directors for "Why" as well.

The music video for "Why" is as eerie as they come, with NF finding himself in a dark, abandoned storefront, riding inside of a shopping cart with Joker-esque makeup. In the last scene, the introspective spitter sits alone after admitting people don't know him well. The screen then fades to black, a recurrent theme in the visual.

Along with the new song and video, NF announced the continuation of his Perception Tour, which kicks off Oct. 2 in Columbus, Ohio. The 14-city tour will take the No. 1-selling rapper across North America until early November, with shows from Minnesota to Quebec. Perception went gold on March 22 after being released in October of last year. NF's third studio album sold 55,000 equivalent copies its first week.
