Nick Lachey Marries Vanessa Minnillo

Singer Nick Lachey and longtime love Vanessa Minnillo were married Friday evening in an unknown tropical location, People.com reports.

In a statement to People, Minnillo said, "For us, this is just a stepping stone to do what we ultimately want and that's to start a family together."

This is the first marriage for Minnillo, the second for Lachey, who was previously married to singer Jessica Simpson from 2002 to 2006.
