Nicki Minaj got snubbed by the MTV Video Music Awards, and she's letting everybody know about it!

After the nominations were announced Tuesday, Minaj voiced her unhappiness over the fact that her video for "Anaconda" was not nominated for Video of the Year, posting on her Twitter page, "If your video celebrates women with very slim bodies, you will be nominated for vid of the year. Oh but trust me. I'll be on that stage to collect my awards for vid of the year. Feeling Myself & Anaconda."

Many interpreted the tweet as shade-throwing against Taylor Swift, whose video for "Bad Blood" scored a Video of the Year nod, but Minaj insists that that's not the case, posting on Instagram that her tweet had "nothing to do with any of the women, but everything to do with a system that doesn't credit black women for their contributions to pop culture as freely/quickly as they reward others. We are huge trendsetters, not second class citizens that get thrown crumbs."

She later went on to say that "this isn't anger. This is #information," adding, "It's all love to MTV. Kisses to my fans and thank you for my 3 nominations."
