As expected, Nicki Minaj‘s latest album ‘Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded’ debuts atop of the Billboard 200 chart with 253,000 copies sold in its first week of release. This chart achievement marks the Young Money rapper’s second No. 1 album of her career.

‘Roman Reloaded’ fell a little short in sales totals of her previous album ‘Pink Friday,’ which premiered at No. 2 on Dec. 11, 2010 with 375,000 copies moved. It eventually climbed to No. 1 after the release of her ‘Super Bass’ single.

Nicki’s album knocked Madonna‘s LP ‘MDNA’ off her perch after one week at the top. Madge’s album fell dramatically to No. 8 with 48,000 copies sold.

Along with her Billboard reign, the ‘Beez in the Trap’ rapper also has the No. 1 album in the U.K. as well. She now holds the record as being the first female rapper to debut at the top of the U.K. album chart.

Nicki went on Twitter to thank her Barbz for making her No. 1 on Billboard:

We want to congratulate Nicki on dominating the music charts worldwide!
