I'm ready for the next phase of my yoga career and I've decided to tackle the ever-popular barre class.

Barre classes are all the rage in the yoga world. You hear of a lot of celebrities who not only do yoga, but they gravitate to the barre classes.

Breathe Yoga defines barre classes as "a 60 min class that blends the perfect balance of strength, flexibility and cardio using elements of dance, Pilates, yoga and sports conditioning. A great way to tone your body, improve flexibility and overall health."

Tone. What woman doesn't love that word?

I think this is going to be a step up from the Vinyasa class I've been taking, which has allowed me to focus my mind on myself. I've really been able to eliminate the stresses in my life and find some inner peace. This barre class sounds more physical, which I'm definitely excited about, while still incorporating the things I've learned in Vinyasa.

Plus there's a bar involved. Which is totally awesome!
