Nominate Someone Now To Be Featured On “Faces Of Shreveport”

I was born in Shreveport, Louisiana on August 8th, 1991. Since then, I've grown up here, made a living here, and started a family here. I love this area so much, and I've figured out over the years, the reason Shreveport-Bossier is so unique, is because the people that live here are truly wonderful.

There are so many people that live in the Ark-La-Tex that simply have story to tell. Think about Disco Dale. You think that man doesn't have a unique story that simply exudes Shreveport? I promise you he does, and I want to help tell that story.

Beginning in February, every two weeks we'll feature a resident of Shreveport-Bossier on a new web series entitled "Faces Of Shreveport".

We're looking for anyone and everyone with a story to tell. One week, it could be Dennis the mall walker who has been walking the mall circuit in town every single day for over twenty years! What a story he must have.

It could be Cas Sullivan, who not only suffered a brain aneurysm, but turned around and made a full recovery and now lives a perfectly normal life.

One week, we may feature Mickey The Hotdog Man who took a silly idea of devoting his life to selling weiners and turned that into one of the most recognizable businesses in Shreveport-Bossier.

I'm getting excited just thinking about this.
