NYU Professor Claims He Was Fired For Giving James Franco A ‘D’

Imagine teaching a 'Directing The Actor' course at NYU with James Franco in the class. That's gotta be a little intimidating, right? What do you do when Franco is missing for 12 of the 14 classes? You've gotta do something. I mean, after all, if it was you or me, we'd get a bad grade. No special favors for us plebes! So, NYU Professor José Angel Santana gave James Franco a D... and was fired soon after. That's why he's suing the school for his job back. It'll be interesting to see how this breaking story turns out! Especially because TMZ has pics of Franco passed out in previous classes at Columbia in 2009. So I guess when he went, he wasn't really 'there!'
