Oh That Adele…Such A Kidder

dele mentioned in a recent interview that she would be taking some time off before her next album. She told Vogue "I am [effing] off for four or five years. If I am constantly working, my relationships fail. So at least now I can have enough time to write a happy record. And be in love and be happy."

But now Adele is backtracking on those comments! She posted on her blog that she only has a few days off until she’s going to the Brit Awards, then its back in the studio. She wrote, “Booya! 5 years? More like 5 days!”

Adele just earned her 20^th non-consecutive week at #1 on the Billboard charts. That’s the longest run at the top of the charts since Whitney Houston’s The Bodyguard soundtrack spent 20 weeks there in ’93.

Whitney’s sales have skyrocketed since her death and she’s back on the charts now. Her Greatest Hits album is currently at #6.
