One Direction Breakdown: Harry Styles Signs with New Management

Is this the first step in the breakup of One Direction?

Harry Styles has split from One Direction's management team, Modest Management, and has signed with CAA's Jeffrey Azoff according to Billboard. Jeffrey is the son of industry veteran Irving Azoff. The news was confirmed by Modest in a statement.

"We wish Harry the very best. It has been a real pleasure working with him. Harry is a total gentleman, and we know our good friend Jeffrey Azoff will look after him."

There has been much speculation that the days of One Direction are over. The band is currently on a break however, with so many of the guys building their own lives up, it looks like they will have a hard time getting back together. First Zayn Malik left. Louis Tomlinson is a father. Liam Payne is writing music for other artists. Niall Horan wants to spend all his time playing golf. Now Harry is signing with a new management.

Modest Management is expected to launch Harry's solo career around this time next year. It's unclear if he will remain with Simon Cowell's U.K. label, but as far as the band goes, some sources say that he is disassociating with One Direction even on a professional connection.

Of course, only time will tell if these rumors are correct. We'll just have to wait and see.
