Only One Grandchild Showed Up For Dinner, Now “Papaw” is Twitter Famous

This is why I love the internet.

Everyone has fallen in love with a true sweetheart, his name is "Papaw". You've probably seen tweets about Papaw and had no clue what was going on, but I can explain.

Kelsey Harmon is a 20-year-old college softball player from Oklahoma. Her Papaw invited all six grand-kids over for dinner. He made burgers for everyone, but sadly only one grandchild made it on time. Kelsey was the lone grand-kid at the table enjoying a burger with Papaw.

She sent this tweet to share her love for Papaw.

As you can see, her post went absolutely viral. Shortly after this tweet went absolutely ballistic, another grandchild finally showed up. Maybe he showed up out of love for Papaw, or maybe getting 75,000 notifications harassing him for missing dinner did the trick. Maybe a combination of both.    

Apparently, this new-found fame is strange but accepted by this family. The internet trolls have already came out though trying to somehow make any of this negative.

Papaw seems to be loving this whole thing and we're so touched by this entire story!
