What a thrill it must have been for Matthew Davidson, who got the call this morning from Kidd Kraddick that he had made the cut and is officially the lead guitar player for this year's Rock Camp band! Matthew is 13 years old and attends Caddo Middle Magnet. Matthew plays the guitar and sings and says if he ever got a million dollars, he'd buy some guitars,  an amp and some stuff for his family so his dad could retire and go on tour with him as his roadie!

Holiday in Dixie is a multifaceted spring festival celebrating its 63rd year in the Shreveport area, making it one of the oldest running festivals in Louisiana.

HID provides cultural enrichment, family oriented activities, economic development, a celebration of The Louisiana Purchase and most importantly, a spirit of community involvement and pride. The spring festival running from April 8th-April 17th is a full schedule of merriment and activities with “something for everyone”.
