Time once again for the 3 biggest news stories of the day from K945.com this time around everybody is buzzing about a Tex-Mex restaurant closing, Pharrell is 'Happy' to take on a new gig and pass the allergy meds its spring time in the SBC.
Pancho's Mexican Buffet is closed!
I remember in my childhood going with my mom and dad to the Pancho's on Mansfield Rd and having to wait in line for 10 minutes to get to the buffet line. Asking the nice people behind the counter to slap my favorite food on my plate then going and sitting down in a busy restaurant. And when my plate started looking a bit empty raising the Pancho's flag on the table and asking for some more of whatever kind of food I thought I needed more of.
I don't remember the last time I went to Pancho's but it's been a long, LONG time. I'm not sure what did them in ultimately in the SBC. People on our Facebook page bemoan the food quality.
Lets be honest a restaurant can't expect to stay open long in our area with sub quality ingredients or service because there are SO many options of places to eat.
Pharrell Williams Newest Coach on the Voice!

Pollen season in the SBC
Pass the allergy meds and turn on the water hose, it's spring time in the sbc and that means pollen! This is the time of year you have to either come to terms and accept that nature is going to do it's thing for the next month, or go broke going to a carwash.
